The Director of Stress Testing, Risk Quantification Division, is responsible for leading staff in developing a comprehensive, state of the art, in-house stress testing modelling framework that will support assessment of federally regulated financial institutions (FRFIs) and contribute to macroprudential policy. Main duties include leading team in continued development and enhancement of internal simulation and forecasting tools, supporting development of non-financial simulation programs (e.g. climate change), and designing, implementing, and analysing various relevant scenarios.
In addition, the Director is responsible for providing consulting advice in their area of expertise to other OSFI divisions, and the executive group. Leading, developing, and coaching staff are key responsibilities of this position.
The individual in this role will need to have very strong relationship management skills and be able to work in a fast paced and demanding environment. This individual will need to have strong verbal/written communication and presentation skills.
