Alyson Bailey

Alyson Bailey-Flynn is Senior Vice President, Data, Analytics & Technology in Global Risk Management at Scotiabank. She oversees data and artificial intelligence risk and is responsible for establishing a foundation for data risk management. In addition, she oversees the development of advanced analytics to support risk management and supporting technology tools. She also had oversight for reputational risk, insurance risk, policy governance and provision reporting.
 
Alyson Bailey-Flynn began her career at Scotiabank in Global Banking and Markets, Capital Markets division where she worked on new business, technology initiatives and in modeling and analytics. She was Regional Chief Auditor for the UK and Europe for 3 years prior to joining risk management.  She holds a Master’s of Mathematical Finance from the University of Toronto, and a BSC in Physics & Math from Saint Mary’s University.
